Join BC Hydro as an Environmental Work Package Manager, where you'll drive environmental strategies in project delivery within a flexible hybrid working environment.
In this permanent, full-time position based in Edmonds, two specialists will manage environmental and socioeconomic assessments for major generation and linear projects.
Your role will involve leading environmental efforts with a focus on effective stakeholder engagement and compliance with regulatory requirements. Experience in hydroelectric projects is key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee environmental management and compliance
• Lead negotiations with First Nations and stakeholders
• Develop innovative solutions for complex environmental issues
• Manage contract relationships and consultant activities
• Facilitate internal and external meetings on environmental topics
Requirements:
• 10+ years of environmental field experience
• Graduate level degree in relevant discipline
• Qualified Registered Professional designation needed
• Proven ability to manage environmental assessments
• Excellent facilitation and leadership skills
