Civil Engineer-in-Training AECOM

Join AECOM as a Civil Engineer-in-Training in Burnaby, BC. You'll deliver municipal construction expertise in stormwater, water, and wastewater sectors while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

In this role, you will engage in municipal projects requiring 2+ years of civil engineering experience. Your tasks will include designing civil systems, performing construction inspections, and drafting technical documents. You'll also assist with cost estimates and contract preparations while receiving moderate supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design municipal water/wastewater drainage systems

• Write technical memorandums and detailed project reports

• Perform construction inspections on active sites

• Prepare documentation for various design projects

• Assist in preparing construction cost estimates and specifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• 2+ years in municipal civil engineering

• Understanding of civil design and construction practices

• BC Class V Driver's License with vehicle access

• Eligible or registered as an EIT in Canada
