Senior Project Engineer - Wastewater Management

As part of the Sewer and Drainage Technical Services team, you will be responsible for managing diverse engineering projects within wastewater collection systems. Your technical background and project management skills will ensure the efficient operation of drainage facilities and compliance with regulatory standards. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex challenges effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee engineering initiatives for pump stations and storage tanks
• Coordinate system improvements and emergency response protocols
• Conduct infrastructure condition assessments and evaluations
• Prepare designs and reports ensuring operational success
• Supervise and advise junior engineering staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 4 years’ experience
• Eligibility for P.Eng registration with EGBC
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management applications
