Join our dynamic Energy Centre as a 3rd Class Power Engineer. You will have a key role in operating and maintaining essential systems like boilers and chillers in a healthcare setting.
This position requires a blend of expertise and communication skills, with a focus on safety and efficiency. You will manage complex HVAC systems, respond to service disarrays, and carry out routine maintenance tasks to support optimal facility operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain high-pressure steam and hot water boilers
• Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC and auxiliary systems
• Monitor digital controls for effectiveness
• Respond to service calls and manage repairs
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in all work areas
Requirements:
• Valid 3rd Class Power Engineer Certificate from B.C.
• Four years of accumulated relevant experience
• Strong abilities in communication and teamwork
• Competence in reading and interpreting engineering designs
• Capability to handle physical demands of the job
