Advance your engineering career at Burnaby refinery as a Process Engineering Co-op Student. Contribute to improving refinery operations through technical support and project facilitation in a supportive team setting.

This internship is ideal for students in their 3rd or 4th year of Chemical Engineering, where you will help ensure operational efficiency through varied responsibilities, including troubleshooting and safety analyses. Engage directly with the Technical Services team during a 12-month term starting in September 2026, where your contributions will be vital to ongoing improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support for operational technical needs

• Participate in turnaround planning and improvements

• Conduct analyses for process hazards and changes

• Develop business proposals for operational projects

• Assist with troubleshooting and conducting test runs

Requirements:

• Enrollment in a Chemical Engineering bachelor’s program

• Availability for a 12-month co-op beginning September 2026

• Previous co-op or related experience preferable

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must possess effective collaboration abilities
