Based in Chandler, Arizona Corporate Headquarters, you will be part of the Reliability Engineering team tasked with supporting the development of new Microcontroller & Analog products and shaping overall reliability strategies and techniques.
Responsibilities- Work with New Product Development teams to create qualification plans and meet scheduled release dates.
- Develop and perform die‑level reliability testing on Microchip devices.
- Perform product qualification techniques for automotive, commercial, and aero/defense products.
- Support the development and qualification of new products and reliability stress plans.
- Collaborate with vendors to develop burn‑in board solutions as needed.
- Demonstrate lab skills with test/measurement equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, power supply, source meter, function generator, network analyzer).
- Apply PCB hardware design knowledge and read board schematics and drawings.
- Follow JEDEC and MIL‑STD reliability test specifications.
- Operate effectively in a team environment while contributing to the team's success.
- Minimum BS with at least 2 years of industry experience or MS degree in Electrical/Computer or related engineering field.
- Strong fundamentals of transistor‑level integrated circuits and device physics.
- Experience with reliability qualification methods including HTOL, HAST, T/C, endurance, and ESD/LU.
- Experience with new product board design bring‑up.
- Experience testing digital and analog circuits in production test or burn‑in environments.
- Experience in common scripting languages (Perl, Python, etc.).
- Strong lab skills with test/measurement equipment.
- Experience with DLT/HTOL burn‑in ovens or similar is a plus.
- Self‑motivated with a sense of ownership for solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Adherence to Microchip guiding values.

Pay RangeThe annual base salary range for this position is $76,000 - $114,000.
* Range depends on job location, skills, and experience.
