As a Technical Staff Engineer – Design, you will manage the design of complex digital circuits and mentor engineering teams. This role encompasses translating intricate requirements into practical designs using Verilog and System Verilog, focusing also on collaboration and technical documentation. Your ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions will be critical for successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead design of complex digital circuits in targeted tech nodes
• Translate architectural requirements to microarchitecture specifications
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project schedules
• Document subsystem features and design decisions meticulously
• Collaborate with stakeholders and resolve technical challenges
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 12 years of experience in related fields
• Proficient in RTL design and ASIC design methodologies
• Familiar with tools like Synopsys and Cadence
• Knowledge of DFT and formal verification techniques
Utilize your leadership skills in digital design to enhance the efficiency of leading data centers at Microchip.
