Join Arcadis as a Mine Water Specialist to tackle complex mining water management issues across Canada. Utilize your expertise in engineering and client relations while contributing to sustainable solutions.
This role is tailored for someone with direct mining sector experience, particularly in British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Ontario. You will support projects from environmental investigations to engineering design, manage junior staff, and liaise with clients and regulatory agencies, ensuring effective water treatment strategies are in place.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement site investigations for project development
• Develop alternatives for water management and treatment
• Oversee junior technical staff’s daily activities
• Communicate with stakeholders and clients effectively
• Prepare design documentation and engineering reports
Requirements:
• MSc in a relevant engineering or applied sciences field
• At least 8 years of direct industry experience
• P.Eng., P.Geo., or P.Chem. required
• Excellent technical writing and presentation skills
• Experience with multiple phases of the mining lifecycle is a plus
