In this pivotal role based in Vancouver, you'll lead the design and development of robotic actuators crucial for humanoid mobility. You will utilize your extensive experience in mechanical design, GD&T, and system integration. Your contributions will enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of our humanoid robots, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design torque dense actuators tailored for humanoid robots

• Develop innovative gearbox designs for enhanced performance

• Create detailed 3D CAD models and production drawings

• Select optimal materials balancing performance and cost

• Lead rapid prototyping and mechanical testing initiatives

Requirements:

• 7+ years in mechanical design for robotics or hardware

• 3+ years in designing advanced actuators

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related

• Proficiency in Solid Works and CAD tools

• Experience with CNC machining and additive manufacturing
