Senior Mechanical Designer

This full-time position is well suited for candidates with at least five years of experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design. You will perform heating and cooling load calculations, coordinate with project teams and utilities, and maintain client relations. Additionally, you'll be responsible for mentoring junior staff and developing training materials to support their growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor junior staff and provide technical guidance

• Perform HVAC and plumbing system design tasks

• Review and supervise drafting, prepare tender documentation

• Participate in field reviews, site surveys, and inspections

• Assist in developing training resources for junior engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar

• 5+ years of HVAC design experience

• 3+ years proficiency in AutoCAD

• Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards

• PEng or AScT designation preferred
