This role, located in Vancouver, involves owning the actuator design process for our advanced robots. You will work closely with teams in robotics, electrical, and software engineering to prototype and deploy solutions that enhance robotic mobility and manipulation efficiency. Your strong background in GD&T and innovative design methods will be critical for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and size actuators for optimal performance

• Innovate gearbox solutions and assembly mechanisms

• Generate comprehensive CAD models and technical specifications

• Oversee rapid prototyping and iterative design processes

• Conduct mechanical tests to validate actuator performance

Requirements:

• 7+ years of mechanical design experience

• 3+ years focusing on actuator technology

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Skilled in Solid Works and engineering design principles

• Understanding of manufacturing processes and prototyping
