Join the team at Raise as a Senior Project Engineer specializing in transmission projects in Burnaby, British Columbia. This hybrid position allows for both office work and field experiences, leading critical infrastructure initiatives.
Raise is expanding its engineering capacity with a Senior Project Engineer focusing on electrical utility projects. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary teams and provide essential project oversight, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires significant experience in substation engineering and project planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead engineering activities for electrical substation projects
• Monitor engineering deliverables and coordinate teams
• Prepare comprehensive engineering documents and agreements
• Conduct independent studies to resolve technical issues
• Track project progress and address potential risks
Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of relevant utility engineering experience
• At least 4 years in project engineering or as a Lead Engineer
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) registration in BC required
• PMP certification and extensive knowledge of substation design
• Strong technical leadership in multidisciplinary contexts
