Stantec is looking for an Engineering or Planning student for a 4-8 month internship in transportation planning. You will collaborate with experienced practitioners on various projects, gaining practical skills through data collection, analysis, and project execution support. This opportunity allows you to develop in-depth knowledge in traffic operations and design while engaging with clients and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with collecting and analyzing transportation data

• Conduct traffic operations and safety analysis

• Support traffic engineering tasks and assessments

• Contribute to planning and impact assessment projects

• Prepare figures and graphics with GIS tools

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Engineering or Urban Planning

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently

• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively

• Available for a full-term internship
