Advance your career as a Service Engineer II with D-Wave in Burnaby, BC. This hands-on role focuses on managing quantum computing systems while ensuring exemplary customer service.
D-Wave is in search of a dedicated Service Engineer to support a diverse array of quantum systems. You will be heavily involved in building, troubleshooting, and improving system performance, working closely with R&D to bring innovations to life. Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential as you engage with clients and ensure service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute system builds and upgrades effectively
• Troubleshoot complex systems in lab and field settings
• Enhance design, reliability, and serviceability with R&D teams
• Develop service procedures and technical documentation
• Foster strong working relationships with customers
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Physics
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in related roles
• Knowledge of electromechanical and cryogenic systems
• Programming skills in Python or C/C++
• Current eligibility for EIT or P.Eng. registration
