As a vital member of the Water Resources team, you will lead coastal modelling projects, mentor junior staff, and contribute to shoreline management efforts. Your scope will include strategic planning, project delivery, and innovative coastal design.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee coastal engineering modelling projects
• Provide peer review for shoreline management and structure designs
• Mentor and train junior engineers in best practices
• Perform assessments and contribute to sediment dynamics studies
• Develop comprehensive design packages for coastal initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Coastal, or Environmental Engineering
• P.Eng. accredited in British Columbia is mandatory
• At least 8 years of coastal engineering experience
• Familiarity with modelling tools like DHI MIKE, Delft3D
• Experience in coastal project design and construction
