Building Envelope Engineer

Join our team as a Building Envelope Engineer in Canada, focusing on building investigations, assessments, and technical guidance. Drive compliance with standards while mentoring junior staff.

This role requires a professional who can oversee building envelope projects and act as the Engineer of Record. You will manage forensic investigations into building failures and ensure projects are delivered within quality standards. Collaborate with project teams and support training initiatives for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as Engineer of Record for company projects

• Prepare and review construction documents

• Oversee site inspections and client interactions

• Support project delivery and quality assurance

• Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Building Science or similar

• P.Eng. certification in British Columbia required

• 5-10 years experience in building consulting

• 2+ years as an Engineer of Record

• Strong organizational and communication skills
