This senior engineer role requires a strong foundation in transmission systems, codes, and engineering best practices for medium to high voltage lines. You will be engaged in project management, conceptual engineering design, and delivering high-quality engineering solutions. Your leadership will guide less experienced engineers and you'll collaborate across various disciplines to enhance project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee design execution for transmission projects
• Produce PLS-CADD / TOWER / POLE models accurately
• Develop project scopes, material, and construction specifications
• Lead feasibility studies and capital cost estimates
• Conduct site investigations and finalize design prints
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Electrical engineering
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficient in PLS software suite
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
