Engineers and Geoscientists BC is seeking a Practice Advisor II focusing on the built environment and seismic initiatives in Burnaby. This hybrid role drives ethical practice support and resource development.
In this 6-month contract position, you will be pivotal in enhancing professional practice for BC's engineers and geoscientists. The Practice Advisor II will deliver valuable guidance, manage practice resource projects, and foster collaborative relationships across departments. Your leadership will aid advisory groups in identifying key practice issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide ethical advice to registrants and stakeholders
• Manage guidelines for the built environment and seismic initiatives
• Foster inter-departmental collaborations and efficiencies
• Lead advisory groups on practice issues
• Engage with regulators and public on related initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Geoscience
• 6+ years in a related engineering/geoscience firm
• 2+ years in project management experience
• Strong technical writing and analysis skills
• Public speaking and presentation experience
