In this pivotal role, you will engage in the design and analysis of tailings facilities while performing crucial geotechnical evaluations. Mentoring junior engineers and leading compliance advocacy will be essential to your responsibilities. You’ll contribute to high-quality project deliverables through technical excellence and collaboration, ensuring projects align with sustainability goals and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and analyze tailings dams and embankments
• Perform geotechnical evaluations and risk assessments
• Prepare high-quality technical reports and specifications
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers
• Advocate for compliance with industry regulations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 6 years' experience in geotechnical engineering
• P.Eng. designation or eligibility for licensure in Canada
• Experience serving as Deputy Engineer of Record
• Knowledge of engineering design software and modeling
