With at least 6 years of relevant experience, you will perform comprehensive engineering studies and detailed designs for substations. This role emphasizes strong technical skills in coordination activities, troubleshooting, and adherence to QA/QC standards. You will also have opportunities to mentor junior engineers and ensure the highest quality of engineering service is delivered to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute engineering studies for substation projects
• Design and draft layouts and major equipment specifications
• Prepare technical specifications and project plans
• Mentor junior engineers and enhance team collaboration
• Conduct site visits to support project scopes
Requirements:
• 6+ years of direct engineering experience required
• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with Power Systems specialization
• Must hold Professional Engineer registration (P.Eng)
• Proficient in engineering software including AutoCAD
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
