Position: QC Testing Electrical EIT Role - RIC Power
Join RIC Power in Burnaby, BC, as an Electrical EIT, focusing on quality testing of medium voltage switch gear.

Your role will ensure all equipment meets stringent design specifications through expert testing.

As an Electrical EIT at RIC Power Corporation, you will engage in thorough in-house testing to uphold the standards of newly manufactured switch gear. You'll lead a small team, perform critical high-voltage tests, and facilitate Factory Acceptance Testing to verify performance. This position allows you to work mainly from the shop with limited field support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute comprehensive functional testing on switch gear

• Perform high-voltage apparatus testing including Hi-Pot

• Mentor the testing team on safety practices

• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve technical issues

• Lead Factory Acceptance Tests to showcase equipment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years relevant experience

• Proficient in interpreting complex electrical schematics

• Excellent troubleshooting and detail-oriented skills

• Familiarity with MS Office for documentation purposes

• Knowledge of IEC standards and safety protocols is a plus
