What you’ll do
  • Analyze current operational processes to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Design and implement process optimization strategies that enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with production teams to develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) that ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to monitor performance metrics and generate actionable insights.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to evaluate workflow and identify bottlenecks in production.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including reports, process maps, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Work closely with supply chain and logistics teams to streamline operations and improve inventory management.
  • Participate in cross-departmental projects aimed at enhancing overall operational effectiveness.
  • Provide training and support to staff on new processes and technologies implemented within the organization.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure Broadway remains competitive in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency throughout the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and tools, such as Excel, Minitab, or similar applications.
  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
Nice to have
  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar quality improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with CAD software or other engineering design tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their application in manufacturing settings.
  • Previous experience in a role focused on process improvement or operational excellence.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly to various audiences.
