Water Treatment Plant Assistant Needed

Kahkewistahaw First Nation #72 seeks a Water Treatment Plant Assistant Operator to ensure safe, potable drinking water within the community. This role covers daily operations, maintenance, and monitoring of water systems.

As a Water Treatment Plant Assistant, you'll be responsible for maintaining strict water quality protocols and aiding the community with their water filtration needs. This position requires at least two years of relevant experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Your dedication to public health will be crucial in delivering quality potable water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor water treatment systems daily

• Ensure compliance with federal and local water quality standards

• Assist community members with water filtration

• Maintain accurate records of water treatment processes

• Uphold confidentiality and abide by required regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent

• Two years of relevant work experience preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle

• Criminal Record Check submission required
