Caterpillar MineStar Onboard Specialist

Become a Mine Star Onboard Specialist at Caterpillar, stationed at the Côté Gold Mine in Ontario. Support autonomous systems in the field while ensuring optimal performance and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

In this hands-on role, you will act as an expert technician for Cat® Mine Star™ Command for hauling, focusing on technical support and system optimization. You will engage with customer teams and Caterpillar engineering to facilitate autonomous haulage success. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong troubleshooting capability and a background in mining technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee onboard hardware health for Command-equipped fleets

• Ensure successful integration of machine systems and components

• Troubleshoot field issues and track resolutions collaboratively

• Analyze autonomy and machine fault data for performance improvement

• Present findings to customer stakeholders clearly

Requirements:

• Experience with heavy mining equipment troubleshooting

• Strong field support and diagnostic skills

• Technical degree in relevant engineering fields

• Prior experience with Cat Mine Star is a plus

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
