Job Description Overview

Join AtkinsRéalis as a Junior Drafter in Vancouver, BC, and launch your career with a team delivering innovative solutions for critical power infrastructure projects. As part of the Protection, Control & Automation team, you will contribute to the design and development of transmission, distribution, and generating station projects while collaborating with experienced engineers and industry professionals.

Draft Protection, Control & Automation drawings. Develop detailed wiring diagrams for power infrastructure projects. Perform drafting work in accordance with client practices and standards. Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary team members to deliver project objectives. Support the design and development of transmission, distribution, and generating station projects. Contribute to the production of accurate and high-quality technical documentation. Apply innovative approaches to improve drafting processes and project delivery.

Proficiency in CAD technology acquired through a diploma in CAD technology or an equivalent qualification. Ability to communicate effectively with strong written and oral English communication skills. Aptitude for learning new technologies and adapting to evolving project requirements. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary engineering team. Aptitude for identifying opportunities to develop and improve work processes.
