Become a vital part of D-Wave's IC Design team as a Superconducting Integrated Circuit Designer in Burnaby, Canada. Focus on innovating superconducting devices for our quantum computing systems.
This intermediate-seniority role entails designing complex superconducting circuits and collaborating closely with scientists in the Processor Development group. You will model, analyze, and enhance the performance of superconducting devices like qubits and junctions while using a sophisticated EDA toolchain to identify potential improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create superconducting IC layouts for innovative quantum circuits
• Predict and design the behavior of novel superconducting devices
• Verify designs ensuring correctness and manufacturability
• Document IC designs and collaborate with colleagues
• Debug complex technical issues effectively
Requirements:
• Degree in electronic engineering or physics, with 0-4 years experience
• Background in analog, quantum, or RF IC design
• Strong understanding of applied electromagnetic theory
• Proficient programming skills in multiple languages
