Join Humanoid as a Mechanical Engineer and create cutting-edge humanoid robots. Your expertise in mechanical design and GD&T is essential for our innovative projects.
In this role, you’ll leverage advanced mechanical design skills to develop components for our humanoid robot platform, HMND-01. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in CAD software and experience with system integration and optimization. Collaborating with electrical and software teams, you’ll ensure that designs meet safety standards and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop robotic components using CAD and GD&T standards
• Optimize linkages and mechanisms for performance
• Select materials and methods balancing strength and cost
• Lead prototyping through 3D printing and CNC machining
• Conduct mechanical testing to verify performance
Requirements:
• Strong mechanical design background and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Solid Works and GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
• Familiarity with CNC machining and 3D printing
• Hands-on prototype building and testing experience
• Understanding of safety standards and risk assessment
