In this impactful role, you will bridge product development and scalable manufacturing at Arbutus Medical, a leader in medical device innovation. You’ll engage with R&D to build prototypes and clinician demos, ensuring designs translate into reliable manufacturing. This position requires a hands-on engineer ready to support products from development through to mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate on design-for-manufacture input during product development
• Prototype and build demonstration units for testing
• Develop test methods and execute verification activities
• Analyze test results and prepare technical documentation
• Oversee manufacturing and inspection process development
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering discipline
• 7–10+ years of engineering experience
• Familiarity with medical device development
• Strong CAD and GD&T knowledge
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
