Position: Leading Building Science Engineer Needed

This position requires a seasoned professional to guide the Building Specialty Services group in achieving excellence across a range of building envelope projects. You will lead efforts in quality assurance, from detailed design reviews to construction site assessments, while mentoring junior staff and driving business development initiatives forward. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining high standards and resolving complex project issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance and quality of building envelope designs

• Manage multiple projects and direct reports effectively

• Conduct field reviews and testing for construction quality

• Interface with architects and contractors for coordination

• Mentor staff in technical best practices and project management

Requirements:

• 10 years of experience in building envelope assessment

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Architecture

• P.Eng. registration in British Columbia

• Familiarity with thermal performance and waterproofing

• Strong computer skills in CAD and project management software
