We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer with four years of experience in Canada, skilled in structural assessment, design, and construction support. You will be instrumental in delivering safe engineering solutions on low-to-medium complexity projects. If you have expertise in reinforced concrete, steel design, and the BC codes, this dynamic role is ideal for you.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop safe structural designs and perform calculations
• Act as Professional of Record for non-standard designs
• Assist project management to meet safety, cost, and schedule targets
• Assess field conditions and perform construction quality control
• Engage with contractors and Authorities Having Jurisdiction
Requirements:
• 4 years of structural engineering experience in Canada
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., S-Frame)
• Strong English communication skills
• Current Confined Space Entry and Fall Arrest training
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver License and willingness to travel
