Senior Transportation Design Engineer

Lead highway design and transportation engineering projects with Binnie from its Burnaby office, serving as Engineer of Record for alternative delivery assignments.

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will manage multidisciplinary transportation projects and develop highway designs from concept through detailed design. You will work with Engineers, Project Managers, clients, and technical staff while applying applicable codes, design guides, and client standards. Binnie's Alternative Design Services Division supports notable transportation assignments.

• Manage multidisciplinary highway engineering projects and specialized sub-disciplines
• Lead conceptual and detailed highway design development
• Prepare contract documents, cost estimates, and tender support
• Perform calculations, peer reviews, and documentation reviews
• Serve as EOR and sign engineering drawings and reports

• Minimum seven years of transportation engineering experience
• Registration as a P.Eng. with EGBC
• Transportation design management experience across multiple disciplines
• Technical review experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D designs
• Strong communication, time management, accuracy, and deadline management
