Asset Management Consultant Building Science

As an Asset Management Consultant, you will assist with post-construction surveys, condition assessments, reserve planning, and consultation. The work serves strata councils, co-op boards, commercial owners, property managers, and other clients. You will develop practical knowledge through collaboration with senior and intermediate team members. The position involves reviewing technical, financial, legal, and property documents while applying relevant regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with post-construction surveys and technical reports
- Perform visual reviews of buildings and physical assets
- Develop replacement cost estimates for applicable assets
- Explain findings and recommendations to clients
- Compile reports using Microsoft Office and technical data
- Knowledge of building science and physical asset assessment
- Ability to review drawings, reports, and strata plans
- Understanding of applicable regulations, standards, and guidelines
- Attention to detail and high-quality photography skills
- Ability to collaborate with technical teams and clients
Support JRS Engineering clients through asset assessments, reserve planning, building reviews, and clear technical reporting.
