Senior Medical Device Mechanical Engineer

Verathon seeks a Mechanical Engineer III for its Airway Sustaining Team. You will work with design, manufacturing, electrical, and software resources to enhance manufacturability, reliability, and cost effectiveness. The work supports high-reliability, high-performance medical devices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, prototype, test, and qualify mechanical device solutions
Investigate manufacturing and design failures through root cause analysis
Resolve production technical issues quickly and effectively
Evaluate non-conformances and recommend design modifications
Develop manufacturing processes, test plans, and risk documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or graduate degree in Mechanical Engineering
Five or more years designing and manufacturing technical products
Solid Works and Solid Works add-ins proficiency
Experience reviewing or preparing process validations
EIT required; P.Eng. preferred from EGBC
