Design transportation infrastructure in Burnaby with Civil 3D, roadway modeling, and multidisciplinary engineering collaboration at Kiewit.
This entry-level Civil Designer supports Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers’ Digital Delivery and Civil Production group. You will develop preliminary and final civil packages for transportation and site civil projects. The work includes roadway, intersection, roundabout, grading, corridor, and pipe network design.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop preliminary and final civil transportation packages
- Translate design intent into models and drawings
- Perform roadway, intersection, and roundabout design
- Create grading models, corridors, and pipe networks
- Participate in design reviews and coordinate with disciplines
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field
- Two-plus years in computer-aided design, modeling, or drafting
- Two-plus years of civil or highway design experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D
- Familiarity with TAC and AASHTO standards
