Join 2K Sports Lab in Burnaby, BC, as a Gameplay Animator where creativity meets technology. This full-time, on-site role emphasizes on technical implementation and innovative animation design.
As part of 2K Games, you will immerse yourself in a dynamic studio environment aimed at pushing the limits of sports game development. Your responsibilities will include working with the Animation Director and collaborating across departments to maintain high animation standards. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about sports and possesses a keen understanding of human movement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in game development reviews and feedback
• Enhance and edit motion capture for gameplay needs
• Work with engineers to implement features in the engine
• Provide task estimations for animation work
• Create prototype assets for pre-visualization
Requirements:
• University degree in visual arts or relevant field
• Multimedia design experience from a post-secondary institution
• Demonstrated portfolio of creative work
• Proactive, collaborative, and passionate about sports
• Experience with interactive animation features
