Position: Lighting Artist Role at 2K Sports Lab
Elevate the gaming experience as a Lighting Artist at 2K Sports Lab in Vancouver, BC. Utilize your artistic skills in lighting to create captivating narratives and immersive environments.

The Lighting Artist will work under the guidance of the Lead Lighting Artist to establish the visual identity of our new sports franchise. You will design real-time lighting in Unreal Engine and collaborate on lighting setups that convey story and focus, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely on established visual direction

• Design real-time lighting balancing fidelity and performance

• Convert concept art into atmospheric in-game lighting

• Ensure assets react believably to lighting

• Maintain visual clarity across diverse environments

Requirements:

• At least one AAA game shipped or comparable project

• Strong knowledge of real-time lighting principles

• Familiar with exposure settings for accurate lighting

• Skill in interpreting visual references and mood boards

• Strong collaborative attitude and communication skills
