As Senior Technical Lead for Core Technology, you will partner with the Franchise Technical Director on long-term roadmaps. You will guide multi-year architectural initiatives, assess risks, and own predictable delivery across your technology stream. The work spans engineering, design, art, production, and external technology groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Define Core Technology roadmaps with the Franchise Technical Director
Lead multi-year initiatives across foundational game technology domains
Coordinate dependencies across engineering, design, art, and production
Mentor technical leads and senior engineers across disciplines
Champion CPU and GPU performance budgets across supported platforms
Requirements:
8+ years of software or game development experience
3+ years of technical leadership or engineering management experience
Deep C++ expertise and modern game engine architecture knowledge
Ability to drive strategy and communicate complex ideas clearly
Experience partnering across technical and creative disciplines
Bring strategic technical leadership, C++, and game engine expertise to the technology foundation of EA SPORTS NHL.
