As the company continues to grow, the finance team is expanding its analytical capabilities, creating a strong opportunity for a technically skilled and business-minded Senior Financial Analyst
.
As the Senior Financial Analyst, you will support both Canadian and . operations with advanced modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and data-driven reporting. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with Business Development and Operations on pricing and profitability, enhance Power BI dashboards, and use SQL to improve data accuracy and insights. This is a high-impact Senior Financial Analyst role where your analysis will directly influence strategic decisions, operational performance, and financial planning across the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Budgeting & Forecasting
Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.Build and enhance driver-based models to support scenario planning and operational forecasting.Pricing & Business Partnering
Partner with Business Development and Operations on pricing for RFPs and competitive bids.Provide financial insight into contract profitability, costing assumptions, and operational impacts.Reporting & Analytics
Maintain and enhance the financial reporting suite, ensuring stakeholders receive clear, actionable analysis.Develop and optimize dashboards using Power BI, improving visibility into KPIs, performance metrics, and trends.Use SQL to extract and manipulate large datasets to support deep-dive analysis.Ad Hoc Analysis & Strategic Support
Conduct detailed ad hoc financial analyses to support operational initiatives, strategic projects, and leadership decision-making.Collaborate cross-functionally to gather data, understand business needs, and translate findings into recommendations.Month-End & Financial Support
Support month-end close activities, including variance analysis and reporting packages.Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting documentation as needed.SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
5+ years’ experience in a FP&A, Consulting or a related role.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, and data analysis) with preferred knowledge of SQL, Power Bi and managing data models.Familiarity with financial concepts and reporting.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
