Your key responsibilities include:- Performing valuation and financial projections for various P&C products (e.g., extended warranty, replacement insurance).
- Conducting drivers of earnings analyses and presenting findings to senior management.
- Completing regulatory requirements such as MCT
, P&C regulatory returns
, FCT
, and the Appointed Actuary Report
. - Supporting profitability assessments of different P&C insurance and warranty products.
- Assisting with IBNR and loss ratio analyses
. - Developing, maintaining, and improving financial reporting and projection models
.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or statistics.
- Is an Associate of the CAS (ACAS) with an interest in pursuing FCAS.
- Has 3+ years of actuarial experience in P&C.
- Shows advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Thrives both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
- Experience with R and SQL
- Knowledge of AXIS
- Understanding of IFRS 17
- Awareness of the auto industry
- Full working proficiency in French

The typical hiring range for this position is between 82k and 115k. The base salary may vary depending on location, knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity. This position also offers an attractive incentive-based compensation package along with a comprehensive range of benefits.
