About the RoleThe Coordinator, Planning and Data Analysis is responsible for providing leadership to strengthen Faculty-wide strategic enrolment management plans, objectives, and goals, including planning for optimum enrolments, and supplemental admissions activities and initiatives. The position supports the Faculty of Education by undertaking research; analyzing data; preparing reports; forecasting required and available resources; and forecasting enrolment and financial implications of curriculum changes. The role is responsible for providing quantitative and qualitative information extraction and analysis with regards to enrolment and financial implications to support decision making by the faculty's executive team and other stakeholders, and providing business solutions to support Faculty unit decisions to meet their Strategic Enrolment Management objectives.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in a quantitative science, business administration, social sciences, or a related discipline and five years related experience, including experience in research methods, statistical analysis, strategic enrolment management, financial management or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Data & Systems Expertise:
Good knowledge of data structures, system relationships, and enterprise level information systems such as SIMS, HAP, and FINS/FAST. - Strategic Enrolment & Financial Acumen:
Excellent understanding of strategic enrollment management practices, performance measurement, budget planning, and financial management. - Analytical Proficiency:
Strong capabilities in data analysis, statistical research methods, and the use of Windows based software, particularly Microsoft Office tools like pivot tables and databases. - Project Management:
Excellent strategic planning, time management, and project management skills, including the ability to read and interpret complex project plans and specifications. - Information Synthesis: A proven ability to synthesize complex qualitative and quantitative information to formulate sound recommendations for senior leadership.
