Join a dynamic team as a Senior Policy Analyst focused on Indigenous issues in Burnaby. This full-time role requires research, policy analysis, and stakeholder collaboration to enhance community relations.
Situated in the Legal Services & Indigenous Relations department, this role involves developing strategies and analyzing policies impacting Indigenous relations. The analyst will conduct research, prepare reports, and facilitate communication between various government levels and community stakeholders. Your insights will help form effective policy recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and present policy proposals to management
• Analyze data and report findings for decision support
• Draft bylaws and assess current regulations
• Build effective partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
• Supervise consultants and ensure project compliance
Requirements:
• Degree in statistics, economics, or related field
• Comprehensive understanding of policy frameworks
• Strong analytical and research background
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Driver’s Licence valid in British Columbia
