Senior Policy Analyst

Position: Full-Time Senior Policy Analyst
Make transformative contributions as a Senior Policy Analyst focused on Indigenous relations in Burnaby. Utilize data analysis to influence policy and engage with diverse stakeholders.

As part of the Legal Services & Indigenous Relations department, you will delve into extensive policy research and develop strategic recommendations. This full-time role involves analyzing various data sources, preparing insightful reports, and establishing connections with government agencies and organizations. You will aim to foster informed strategies that enhance relationships across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and present policy proposals to senior leadership

• Interpret data to assist in decision-making processes

• Review existing bylaws and propose necessary adjustments

• Cultivate partnerships with stakeholders and organizations

• Coordinate research projects with technical consultants

Requirements:

• Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience

• Strong knowledge of Indigenous issues and policies

• Excellent research and data analysis skills

• Effective communication and presentation abilities

• Valid Driver’s Licence for British Columbia
