In this temporary, full-time role within the External Relations Department, you will be responsible for developing communication materials and liaising with stakeholders. Prioritize organizing public meetings and ensuring clear communication during liquid waste projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop newsletters and communication tools for outreach
• Liaise with stakeholders on construction impacts
• Organize and promote public engagement meetings
• Provide answers to inquiries from the public
• Assist project managers in preparing presentations
Requirements:
• Grade 12 with a focus on communication studies
• Awareness of Metro Vancouver’s programs
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Background in organizing public events
• Valid British Columbia driver’s license
