A boutique long-term care home, nestled in the breathtaking Rocky Mountains of BC, is seeking a dynamic Administrator / Director of Care to lead our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:
    Provide operational oversight and ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality care and services.

    Lead initiatives to enhance resident care, quality improvement, and compliance with clinical standards and regulations.

  • Financial Stewardship:
    Manage budgets, contracts, and service partner performance while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications:
  • Eligible for Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse
  • Proven leadership (3+ years) experience in long-term care or healthcare management.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical standards, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement processes.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage staff, residents, families, and stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing budgets, contracts, union relations, and service partnerships.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
Nice-to-Have

Qualifications:
  • Experience with innovative care models or approaches to elder care;
    Familiarity with LEADS capabilities (Lead Self, Engage Others, Achieve Results, Develop Coalitions, Systems Transformation).
