Position: L.I.F.E Services Community Counsellor Role

Join L.I.F.E Services as a Community Living Counsellor, where you will help individuals with disabilities lead fulfilling lives through personalized support. This is an opportunity to make a tangible difference.

As a part of Community Living Society, your role involves actively engaging supported individuals in their daily lives and fostering meaningful community connections. You will provide crucial support in several areas, including lifelong learning and relationship development. Flexibility in shifts is essential, including potential evening and weekend hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals in meeting their personal life objectives

• Coordinate community outings, including leisure and vocational activities

• Keep accurate records of individual goals and achievements

• Support the development of social networks for enhanced support

• Help in areas such as personal care and mobility assistance

Requirements:

• Class 7 N driver’s license and access to a vehicle

• First Aid and CPR certification required

• Comfortable with wheelchair assistance

• Clear criminal record verification needed

• Ability to assist in swimming and gym settings
