Fraser Health is hiring for an Environmental Health Officer to support Health Promotion & Protection Services within the communities of Burnaby and New Westminster. Your responsibilities will include inspecting facilities, enforcing health regulations, and conducting vital public health research. Key Responsibilities:

• Execute inspections for regulatory compliance across various facilities

• Investigate health-related complaints and issues

• Analyze environmental safety standards and improve policy

• Facilitate community education on health practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health or related area

• Certification in Public Health Inspection (Canada) mandatory

• Valid BC Class V Driver’s License is necessary

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Familiarity with regulatory compliance in health
