Temporary Rehab Assistant at Lifemark

Lifemark Seniors Wellness is hiring a Temporary Part-Time Rehab Assistant located in Burnaby, BC. Support therapeutic recovery through tailored treatments and engaging exercise classes.

This role supports physiotherapists by implementing personalized treatment plans for residents in care. You'll perform essential therapeutic activities, including balance and strengthening exercises, and maintain a safe environment. Communication with physiotherapy staff is crucial to provide effective care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support physiotherapy sessions and treatment plans

• Implement exercises such as gait training and range of motion

• Lead therapeutic exercise classes for residents

• Organize and clean treatment equipment and spaces

• Record treatment details in the online system

Requirements:

• PTA/OTA diploma or related Kinesiology degree

• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required

• Valid Vulnerable Sector screening check needed

• Proof of Tuberculin clearance essential
