Community Living Counsellor Team Lead

Location: New Westminster

Lead a compassionate team at Community Living Society as a Community Living Counsellor, Team Lead in the Lower Mainland. Support individuals with disabilities through person-centered strategies and active engagement.

This permanent full-time role involves assisting the Manager with administrative tasks and overseeing day-to-day home support for individuals. You will motivate and coach a team of Counsellors, ensure meaningful community integration, and provide essential support tailored to each individual's goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage individuals in meaningful community participation

• Assist Manager with administrative and financial tasks

• Motivate and coach Counsellors on support techniques

• Provide personal care and home support duties

• Monitor daily records and goal progression

Requirements:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license, willing to obtain Class 4

• Reliable vehicle access for regional travel

• First Aid and CPR Certification required

• Experience in high behavioral support

• Clear criminal record check sponsored by CLS
