Position: Rehabilitation Assistant at Fraser Health
Location: New Westminster

Contribute to patient recovery as a Rehabilitation Assistant at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC. Collaborate with professionals to provide essential therapeutic support in a clinical setting.

Located within Fraser Health, this role is pivotal for delivering rehabilitative care and assisting patients with daily living activities and mobility. As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will implement treatment plans under supervision, monitor patient progress, and ensure adherence to care guidelines. You will work closely with physiotherapists and occupational therapists to enhance patient outcomes in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans for mobility and daily activities

• Monitor and document patient progress and changes

• Assist in the fabrication of splints and mobility devices

• Provide skills training for daily living tasks

• Maintain therapy equipment and supplies

Requirements:

• Completion of Rehabilitation Assistant Program

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Physical capability to perform job duties

• Ability to organize tasks and operate related equipment

• Experience in patient care settings preferred
