Fraser Health Rehabilitation Assistant Position

Support residents in their rehabilitation journey as a Rehabilitation Assistant at Fraser Health. This role encompasses assisting with mobility exercises and enhancing daily living skills.

As a Rehabilitation Assistant, you will aid residents under the supervision of therapists and nurses. Responsibilities include demonstrating the use of adaptive devices, participating in care meetings, and reporting on residents' progress. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with mobility and daily living activities

• Demonstrate adaptive equipment use and support

• Report on residents’ progress and behavioral observations

• Clean and maintain therapeutic equipment

• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent combination of education

• Effective communication skills both verbal and written

• Ability to collaborate with healthcare coworkers

• Physical ability to carry out required duties

• Understanding of related rehabilitative equipment
